New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday said two Indian sailors have died and three injured due to a fire in a vessel in Yemen. PTI[/caption] Sharing the tragic news on social media platform Twitter, the minister expressed her condolences to the bereaved families. “We have lost two Indian sailors Mahesh Kumar Rajagopal and Deepu Lathika Mohan due to fire in a vessel Al Sadaa. My condolences,” she tweeted.
Yemen - I have spoken to Sister Sally - an Indian national from Kerala. She is safe and will be evacuated today itself.

The minister said the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Salalah, Oman. “The three injured have been admitted in a hospital in Salalah, Oman. Our missions in Djibouti and Oman are providing all assistance,” she added.
