Rakesh was engaged in a lively doubles badminton match when the tragedy struck.

Moments after skillfully sending the shuttle across the court, his eyes following its trajectory, he bent down to retrieve it for the next serve. In an instant, everything changed.

One moment, Rakesh was in the rhythm of the game — the next, he collapsed, motionless, on the court, leaving his stunned friends rushing to his side in disbelief.

The viral footage shows fellow players desperately attempting chest compressions in an effort to revive him, their panic palpable as they tried to save their friend.

Despite being rushed to a private hospital by his friends, Rakesh was declared dead on arrival by doctors, as reported by the news agency PTI.

Police have confirmed that a post-mortem has been conducted, with results still pending to determine the exact cause of death.

This tragedy is not an isolated case. It adds to a disturbing trend of heart attack-related deaths among young individuals.

Just earlier this month, 35-year-old Pankaj Sharma from Faridabad suffered a similar fate. While working out at a gym in Ballabhgarh, Sharma, who had just sipped a cup of black coffee, was exercising his shoulders with a cable machine.

Moments after transitioning to a triceps extension, he collapsed and fell to the ground, succumbing to a heart attack.
