There was no political witch-hunt against Robert Vadra, law will take its course says Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu

New Delhi: Reacting to Robert Vadra’s claim that he was being subjected to a “political witch-hunt,” Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Monday said the government is not vindictive but the law must be allowed to take its course. We don’t discriminate against anybody. We have not harassed any political opponents since we came to power. The law must be allowed to take its course. I don’t want to make any personal comments about anybody,” Naidu said. Robert Vadra, whose land deals are being probed in BJP-ruled Haryana and Rajasthan, on Sunday contended that he was being subjected to a “political witch-hunt” and used as a “political tool”. Son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, the controversial businessman said a distinction should be made between him as an individual conducting business like anyone else and the politics of the family of his wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra “without constantly attempting to link the two” PTI
