Terrorists fired upon a temporary operating base (TOB) of the Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda in the late hours of Tuesday (June 11).
Multiple rounds were fired at the TOB in the remote area of Doda by the terrorists.
Several teams of Army and police were rushed to the spot.
This is the third terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir within 48 hours.
The first attack was on June 9, Sunday, at Reasi when the terrorists opened fire at a 53-seater bus when it was en route from Shiv Khori temple to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine at Katra near Teryath village in the Poni area. The bus veered off the road and plunged into the deep gorge following the gunfire around 6:15 pm, an hour before Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister in Delhi.
At least 10 people, including a child and three women, were killed and more than 40 others were injured in the ghastly attack.
The second attack took place in the early evening on Tuesday, June 11, when terrorists opened fire at residents of Saida Sukhal village in the Hira Nagar police circle of Jammu’s Kathua district.

One terrorist was gunned down in retaliatory firing by security forces.
