Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that enemies took advantage of India whenever there was a weak and unstable government in the country but today we have a strong regime and hence terrorists are being eliminated on their own turf.
Addressing a rally in Uttarakhand’s Rishikesh, PM Modi said, “Whenever there has been a weak and unstable government in the country, our enemies have taken advantage of it and terrorism has flourished in India. Today, there is a strong government in India, hence terrorists are being eliminated inside their homes. Today, there is a strong government in India, hence our Tricolour becomes a guarantee of security even in the war zone.”
Attacking the Congress for raising questions on the existence of Lord Ram and and publicly announcing to destroy the ‘Shakti’ in Hindu religion, he asked the people of Uttarakhand to give a befitting reply to the grand old party by voting BJP into power.

He also said the “weak” Congress governments in the past could not strengthen the border infrastructure.
“We are continuously increasing rail, road and air connectivity in Uttarakhand. Work is underway on Rishikesh -Karanprayag railway line. Distance between Delhi to Dehradun is also reducing. Border villages which were called ’last villages’ under Congress, are now being developed under BJP government. Air services have started for Adi Kailash and Om Parvat. 900 km long highway is also being built to connect Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath,” said PM Modi.
PM Modi said the echoes of ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar’ were being heard across the country as people have seen the benefits of having a stable government.
“Yesterday when I was in Tamil Nadu, India’s southern end, people were chanting ‘phir ek baar Modi Sarkaar’. Today, when I am in the lap of the Himalayas, at the foot of Baba Kedar and Badri Vishal, people here also are saying ‘phir ek baar Modi Sarkaar’. Same words are echoing everywhere,” he said.
