New Delhi: Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari on Friday said the legal process relating to the allegation of sexual assault against Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal should be allowed to reach its logical conclusion. “The alleged incident is unfortunate. There is a legal process which is playing itself out. It should be allowed to reach logical conclusion. It is incumbent upon all concerned to cooperate with legal processes and procedures,” Tewari said. PTI[/caption] Meanwhile, Law Minister Kapil Sibal said whatever has come out should be probed. “Whatever has come out should be probed,” he said when asked to comment on the issue. Tejpal faces possible arrest after Goa police booked him on rape charge following an allegation by a journalist colleague that he sexually assaulted her during an event a fortnight ago. A special investigating team of the Crime Branch will be in Delhi for questioning Tejpal and police are not ruling out arrest. Editor of Tehelka magazine Tarun Tejpal has been facing allegations of sexual assault of a journalist who was working under him. Goa police today filed an FIR against Tejpal in connection with the case, slapping the charge of rape against him. PTI
