Suspicious object near Mumbai mall sparks bomb scare

A suspected explosive device  found in a northwest suburb of Mumbai sparked panic with the Anti-Terrorism Squad of the state police and bomb disposal being rushed to the location. Police officials later said that there was no proof that it was a explosive device. According to reports, the device was found in a garbage bin opposite the mall and might have been found by a cleaner. Bomb disposal squad officials and police officials cordoned off the busy road where the mall is located as they checked the object and verified if it was an explosive device.
