Suresh Prabhu to launch three trains for Bihar and West Bengal tomorrow

New Delhi: Continuing with the launching spree, Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will on Tuesday flag off three trains - two for West Bengal and one for Bihar-from Anand Vihar station here. Train services for Saharasa in Bihar, and Malda and Santragachi in West Bengal will be flagged off tomorrow from the station, said a senior Railway Ministry official. Malda-bound train will be available from Anand Vihar station every Saturday and in return journey the train would leave Bengal city every Friday. For Saharsa, the weekly express train will be leaving the Anand Vihar station every Thursday and start the return journey on every Wednesday. Anand Vihar-Santragachi weekly express train will be available on every Tuesday from here and every Monday from Santragachi, according to the schedule. Prabhu had recently launched a new Shatabdi train for Bhatinda. He has also launched Indore-Jammu train service last week. According to the official, all new trains announced in the Rail Budget 2014-15 are likely to be launched in the current fiscal. PTI
