Bassi said the process of sending Pushkar’s viscera abroad for ascertaining the poisonous substance was on. “In the next two days, the decision over the country will taken,” he said.

Pushkar, 52, was found dead in a south Delhi hotel Jan 17, 2014. Delhi Police had lodged a murder case Jan 1 this year, two days after getting the final autopsy report from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Soon after lodging the FIR (first information report), the SIT questioned Tharoor’s domestic help.
