The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the final results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam for 2016. Students can check their rankings on the following link or visit the website ssc.nic.in. A notice by the commission’s official website on Friday said that the results were in the final stages of processing and would be declared in the morning. The results were initially slated to be announced on 4 August at 6 pm. Despite the delays in the announcement, the results have now been declared. Retuers[/caption] While the portal ssc.nic.in will give aspirants details about their results and other exam-related information, students can also find details related to their online application portal on ssconline.nic.in. For the list of candidates for the post of Assistant Audit Officer (AAO), students can visit this link. For the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), this link will provide the details. For candidates declared for posts other than AAO and JSO, students can visit this link. The commission’s website states that based on the result of CGL Tier-II Exam, 2016, the numbers of candidates that provisionally qualified for appearing in the Tier-III/Tier-IV/Skill Test were as follows: List I: Assistant Audit Officer: 4,796 List II: Assistant Section Officer in CSS and MEA: 15,030 List III: Junior Statistical Officer: 1,254 List IV: All posts (except AAO, ASO/Assistant (in MEA and CSS) and Junior Statistical Officer : 35,089 In all, 35,906 candidates qualified in the Tier-II exams including those candidates who qualified in more than one list. - Visit the official website of the Commission i.e. ssc.nic.in.
- Click on the link titled ‘ Important Notice - Final Result - The Combined Graduate Level Examination-2016’
- Click on the ‘Result’ category for the category result you wish to check.
- Find your rank on the list through your roll number. You can do so by pressing Ctrl and F and typing your roll number to find your ranking.
- Download the PDF file for future reference.
Meanwhile, for the commission states that combined recruitment for the positions of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination, 2017 (Paper-I), students can download the answer keys till 27 August up to 5 pm. The answer keys were only available until 4 August initially. As has been observed over the course of the past few weeks, the dates and times of result announcements have been frequently changed around. The information above has not been independently verified.
