‘South India is cultural fortress of India, safe house of Indian culture’: Defence Min Rajnath Singh at IMS-2023

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh Thursday lauded Southern India as the “Cultural Fortress of India”, the “safe house of Indian culture”. He was speaking at the ‘India Manufacturing Show-2023’ in Bengaluru. “If Delhi is the political capital, then Bengaluru is the technology capital of the country…,” Singh said. “Due to its geographical condition,” Singh added, “Southern India has been a distant target for invaders. Northern India faced the invaders directly. Invaders tried to harm our culture in Northern India but Southern India was less affected by the invaders and as a result, we can see Indian culture more vibrant in Southern India.” “To safeguard the cultural heritage of the nation, there will be no exaggeration if I call South India the ‘Cultural Fortress’ of India. South India is the safe house of Indian culture.” IMS 2023 - GLOBAL PLATFORM FOR MSME The sixth edition focuses on the theme ‘Make in India’. It will boost Make in India objective in 25 sectors.
