Sonia expresses her condolences to kin of Konkan train tragedy

New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi today expressed “deep shock” over the train tragedy that took place in Maharashtra’s Raigad district. Associated Press.[/caption] “Congress President today expressed deep shock over the loss of lives and injuries to the passengers on the Diva-Sawantwadi Express that derailed this morning near Nagothane in Raigad, Maharashtra,” the AICC said in a release here. Seventeen people were killed and 120 injured when the engine and four bogies of the passenger train derailed on Konkan Railway route. PTI
