Kochi: The Kerala High Court today reserved order on the bail plea of former private secretary to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Tenny Joppan, who was arrested in connection with the alleged solar panel scam, which has been rocking the state for the last few weeks. When the bail plea came before the court, Advocate General K P Dandapani told that Joppen had full knowledge of the transactions of solar scam accused Saritha S Nair and Biju Radhakrishnan. Despite being fully aware regarding the cases registered against them, Joppan maintained relationship with the accused and they “share a common intention”. Investigation is going and if bail is granted, it will hamper probe, he stated. Justice S S Sateeshchandran directed the AG to produce case diary files. Meanwhile, the bail application of television actress, Shalu Menon, another accused in the case, was adjourned to Friday. Saritha S Nair and Biju Radhakrishanan were today remanded in four-day police custody after they were produced before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate in connection with six cases pending against them in Kochi. Biju Radhakrishnan was also taken to hospital for a medical check-up. PTI
