Shocker: 5-year-old allegedly raped by 17-year-old inside BJP's Kolkata office

In a shocking incident, a five year-old girl was allegedly raped inside the BJP office in Kolkata. Police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the incident on Friday. “The accused, who worked as a cleaner, had the keys to the BJP office in south Kolkata’s Behala area. He took the girl to the office and allegedly raped her,"  police told NDTV. [caption id=“attachment_2098145” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Representational image. Reuters[/caption] The child is right now admitted to a hospital and going through medical examination and treatment for her injuries. According to NDTV reports, the accused was arrested after the parents of the girl filed a complaint with the police. Reports said that the girl went missing at around 3 pm on Friday when the mother went out to look for her. She knocked on the doors of the BJP office when the boy opened the door and the five-year-old ran out. On returning home, the mother found that her daughter was bleeding. The mother then took the five-year-old to the doctor who confirmed that the child had been raped. Trinamool MP Derek O’Brien condemned the heinous act and had only word. “Terrible,” he was quoted by NDTV as saying.
