Remove fear of minority community: Azam Khan to PM Modi

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh minister Azam Khan on Tuesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should learn a lesson from drubbing in Bihar polls and work towards removing “fear” of the minority community. “If you behave with hatred with everything created by the God then he will not be happy with you,” Azam said. PTI [/caption] “‘Sabka saath, sabka vikas’ was your slogan, accept it with an open heart and cremate religious and caste-based ill feelings,” he said. Invoking ancient saints, the UP minister appealed to the Prime Minister to lessen the fear of the minorities. “Take lessons from Dadhichi and Valmiki Maharaj. Take fear out of the hearts of the people who are afraid of you and set an example of oneness. Get out of ‘dal and daldal’ (groupings) and become the prime minister of great India.” The Samajwadi Party leader said people of Bihar have set parameter of mutual brotherhood and relationship. “Bihar polls have decided the fate of the country,” the minister said. In a written statement, Azam said atmosphere of peace, brotherhood and mutual faith, which prevails after Bihar polls, proves that Indians want a similar atmosphere. “It is my appeal to the Prime Minister that he should not only learn from the situation, but take it as an experience. He should take an initiative to create a new person in himself,” Azam said. “On the occasion of Diwali, the pained hearts congratulate you with hope that this won’t happen again in democratic and constitutional system,” he said.
