Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Russia from 8 December 2024 to 10 December 2024, Russia’s TASS state news agency reported on Tuesday, citing a source in military circles in New Delhi.
Singh will visit Moscow and Russia’s European exclave of Kaliningrad, TASS reported.
This follows PM Narendra Modi’s BRICS Summit visit to Russia.
Despite Western sanctions during the conflict with Ukraine, India and Russia have maintained their longstanding historical relations. It is unclear how things will turn out now that Donald Trump will be in the White House for the next five years, even though India also developed ties with the US throughout this time.
