Maoists are creating obstacle in the development. I appeal Maoist leaders not to lure youth to wrong path and stop giving weapons to children. No Maoist leader’s children have taken up arms,” Singh added. Praising the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at centre, Singh said that the government had worked for the welfare of the poor through initiatives like Jan Dhan Yojana and Ujjwala scheme. He appreciated the work done by Jharkhand chief minister Raghubar Das in last 1,000 days. “Jharkhand has done an outstanding job in last 1,000 days. The state was once ranked 29th in ease of doing business and now it stands on seventh,” said Singh.
