Rajasthan PTET 2021 postponed due to COVID-19; details at ptet.in

The Government Dungar College, Bikaner has deferred the Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2021 examination. As per the latest notice, candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates related to the test. It was scheduled to be held on 16 May. A new date for the examination will be announced soon. The decision has been taken due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the country. The college conducts Rajasthan PTET for admissions to Bachelor of Education (BEd), BA-BEd, and Bachelor of Science (BSc)-BEd programmes. The successful candidates are eligible for admissions to four-year and two-year BEd programmes in different state colleges. This year more than 4.5 lakh candidates have applied for this state-level entrance exam. Eligibility for 4-year BEd programme

1.       A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognised educational board
2.       An applicant must have cleared the PTET examination

Eligibility for 2-year BEd Programme

1.       A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognised educational board
2.       An applicant must have completed a three-year graduation course from a recognised university
3.       An aspirant must have completed the graduation in those subjects for which he wants to pursue BEd
4.       A candidate must have cleared the PTET examination

The college has instructed the state colleges to undertake online classes for BEd students who have already got admission to the courses. The college has also advised other colleges not to charge any additional fees in the name of online classes as it has been deemed illegal by the state government. If any college is found to be involved in such activities, strict action will be taken against it.
