The Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Number 2 on 1 October had issued the order on an ‘istgasa’(complaint) filed by one Suresh Chand Sharma who alleged that Dr Vimal Soni of Soni Hospital in connivance with the above mentioned people, had grabbed the land worth Rs 31 crore for just Rs 6.11 crore. Gandhi Nagar police station here, after getting court’s order, lodged the FIR against former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, his cabinet colleague Chandrabhan, Dr Vimal Soni, and IAS officer Nihal Chand Goyal, a senior official said. Since the case belonged to elected representatives, it was referred on Thurday to CID-CB for further investigation, the official said, adding, as the case was to be probed other details would provided by the competent authorities of CID-CB.
