New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee has accepted the resignation of Nagaland Governor Ashwani Kumar, an official statement said Friday. A presidential statement said Meghalaya Governor KK Paul will discharge the functions of the governor of Nagaland in addition to his own duties “until regular arrangements” were made. AFP[/caption] The president also appointed Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah to take charge of Karnataka and Mizoram Governor Vakkom Purushothaman to discharge the functions of the governor of Tripura.
