Police official abducted and murdered by Maoists
Krupa Majhi an assistant sub-inspector from the Dharmabandha police outpost in Odisha was abducted and shot by Maoists.

An assistant sub-inspector of police was today kidnapped and later murdered by suspected Maoists in Odisha's
Nuapada district.
Krupa Majhi, ASI of Dharmabandha police outpost, was escorting a water tanker to a CRPF camp at Goudha when his vehicle was stopped by around 10 persons and he was taken away. Another police official accompanying him was reportedly allowed to leave unharmed.
Majhi was later found murdered in the nearby forests and had been shot, television channels reported.
