Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate WAVES 2025 today in Mumbai. The World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit, a four-day event under the theme ‘Connecting Creators, Connecting Countries,’ aims to position India as a hub for entertainment and creative innovation.
The four-day global event brings together top names from film, tech, and media to boost India’s role as a creative and entertainment hub.
The event wiIl be marked by the presence of Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Karan Johar, among others.
The first-ever WAVES Summit 2025 is bringing together top names from film, tech, and global entertainment. The four-day event at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre will feature a star-studded guest list that includes film legends, Bollywood icons, and international industry leaders.
Big names expected to attend include Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Hema Malini, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Ekta Kapoor. Other notable attendees include AR Rahman, SS Rajamouli, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Allu Arjun, and business leaders like Mukesh and Nita Ambani.
From the global stage, Netflix’s Ted Sarandos, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan, and Instagram’s Adam Mosseri are also on the list.
Organised by FICCI, in partnership with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Create in India Challenge, WAVES aims to be a leading platform for collaboration and innovation in the entertainment industry.
