Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday (May 22) spoke highly of the ‘Operation Sindoor’ launched by the Indian Armed Forces against Pakistan-based terrorists and army earlier this month in response to the April 22 massacre of Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a rally in Bikaner of Rajasthan state, the Indian PM said that the Indian forces avenged the death of victims of the April 22 terror attack in 22 minutes.
“… On April 22, terrorists removed the Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters after asking about their religion. PM Modi added that Pakistan’s Rahim Yar Khan airbase was in ICU due to Indian air strikes; however, Pakistan couldn’t touch Indian bases due to a robust air defence system. He also reiterated that India was not going to be blackmailed by Islamabad’s nuclear threats.
He added that Pakistan will have to pay a very heavy price for any terror attack on Indian soil.
“India has made it clear, Pakistan Army and its economy will have to pay a heavy price for every terrorist attack,” he said.
