Separately, CNN-News 18 reported that the aeroplane was coming from the Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur and fire was doused upon landing.

In a separate aircraft accident, a passenger plane was involved in an accident at the Kalispell City Airport in America’s Montana on Monday and burst into flames. The pilot and three passengers, however, survived, and only two persons onboard suffered light injuries.

In related aviation news, Air India on Monday announced the suspension of services between Delhi and Washington DC. The airline said in a press release that the suspension was primarily driven by the planned shortfall in the fleet as the airline commenced retrofitting 26 of its Boeing 787-8 aircraft last month.

The continued closure of airspace over Pakistan has impacted the airline’s long-haul operations, leading to longer flight routings and increased operational complexity, the statement further read.
