PM Modi hails Anant Ambani’s Vantara as a beacon of wildlife conservation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently visited Anant Ambani’s Vantara in Jamnagar, said “an effort like Vantara was truly commendable". Modi inaugurated Vantara’s Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre.

In a post on X, the PM wrote: “An effort like Vantara is truly commendable, a vibrant example of our centuries old ethos of protecting those we share our planet with. Here are some glimpses…"

In another post, he wrote, “Inaugurated Vantara, a unique wildlife conservation, rescue and rehabilitation initiative, which provides a safe haven for animals while promoting ecological sustainability and wildlife welfare. I commend Anant Ambani and his entire team for this very compassionate effort."

Situated within the Jamnagar Refinery Complex in Gujarat, Vantara spans 3,000 acres and serves as a sanctuary for abused, injured and endangered animals. Vantara is a comprehensive rehabilitation centre dedicated to providing a natural and nurturing environment for its inhabitants.
