According to ANI news agency, the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) met at Lok Kalyan Marg at 7 pm.

The meeting was shortly held after ousted Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina landed in India after fleeing the restive country.

Hasina, who resigned today following unprecedented anti-government protests, landed at the Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad as part of her plan to go to London, according to sources.

Hours after Hasina landed at the airbase near Delhi in a C-130J military transport aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval met her.
