Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India is demonstrating a “fast and fearless” attitude as it moves forward on various fronts.

Addressing the Rising Bharat Summit 2025, PM Modi said that global challenges could not stop India, instead, they helped double the size of its economy.

“There were a lot to challenges but India ran with double the speed and doubled it’s economy within a decade. Those who thought India will move in a slow and steady speed can now see fast and fearless India,” he added.

He said India has transformed possibilities into policies, opening new pathways for growth.

“My decisions are aimed at getting the youth the best in order for them to flourish and help propel India forward,” he said.

Criticising the previous governments for their slow progress on developmental projects, which hindered India’s growth and advancement, PM Modi said that India cannot afford to waste time, as delays pose the greatest obstacle to the country’s development.

He said India, undoubtedly, will soon become the third largest economy in the world.

“Who is driving the unprecedented growth of the country? Youth of India, their ambitions and aspirations,” said PM Modi.

PM Modi emphasised that the global community not only observes India but also places its hopes in the nation’s leadership, resilience, and growing stature.

He noted that the passage of the Waqf Bill represents a significant step toward achieving true social justice and equitable reform.

“Waqf Amendment Bill was passed in these 100 days of 2025. Big step for social justice,” said the Prime Minister.

PM Modi condemned the opposition’s opposition to the Waqf Bill, labeling it as a tactic of appeasement politics.

He raised questions about the legacy of partition, saying, “Many countries got liberated but is there any country whose freedom happened with partition?”

Modi further said that the two-nation theory was not the consensus of the common Muslim population.

He slammed the Congress party for gaining power through appeasement politics, questioning what benefits Muslims have received from such an approach.

He also announced that flights from Navi Mumbai airport will begin soon.

On financial empowerment, he said that by the time one watches an episode of an OTT show, 5,000 Mudra loans get sanctioned — proving this is not microfinance but a mega transformation.
