Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri sector, Indian forces retaliate

Pakistani troops violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday, media reports said.

According to CNN-News18, heavy exchange of fire is currently on between Indian and Pakistani forces. Meanwhile, a gunfight erupted between militants and the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, police said. Pakistani troops had resorted to unprovoked firing on Indian posts in Tangdhar sector in Kupwara district, the army official said.
