Srinagar: One separatist guerrilla was killed and three soldiers were injured on Wednesday in a gunfight between militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said. Reuters[/caption] “Security forces surrounded a house in Bongam village of Tangmarg tehsil following specific information about a group of militants hiding inside,” a police officer told IANS. When the security forces zeroed in on the house where the militants were hiding, they came under heavy gunfire from the militants, he said. “In the ongoing gun battle, one militant has been killed and three soldiers have been injured,” he added.
