One detained in Jharkhand for Ranvir Sena chief's murder

Jamshedpur (Jharkhand): One person has been detained for questioning here in connection with the murder of Ranvir Sena head Bramheshwar Singh, police sources said today. PTI”] [/caption]With the help of the local police, the Special Investigation Team from Patna took a person into custody at Bistupur in the steel city last night, they said. He was being questioned in connection with the incident, the sources said. The chief of the Ranvir Sena, private militia of upper caste landlords, was gunned down on 1 June at Khopira village in Bihar’s Bhojpur district, triggering violence and arson. Singh, alias Mukhiyaji, was accused of organising multiple attacks on lower caste villages. PTI
