Mumbaikar Ram Subramaniam had no idea that a simple hashtag that he used would start a nation-wide campaign. Keeping with the recent rising tensions between Indian and Pakistan, Subramaniam on Thursday used #profileforpeace with a selfie, in which he held a note that read “I am an Indian. I am from Mumbai. I don’t hate Pakistan. I am not alone. There are many people like me.”
Further in his caption he invited anyone else who shares his thoughts to join and promote the campaign.
