NEET Counselling 2017 second allotment result declared: Candidates can check the list on

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the second allotment list based on NEET 2017 rank for All India Quota seats on Tuesday. Candidates can check the results on the official website, The results are only for applicants registered for 15 percent of 'All India quota' seats in the MBBS and BDS courses.

The selected candidates should report at the allotted medical/dental college for admissions between 9 August and 16 August (until 5 pm). After the second round, the vacant seats would be transferred to the state quota.

Exams Watch reported that there are 8,248 seats under 15 percent all India quota for medical and dental colleges. Out of these, the MCC allotted 4,018 seats in the first round of counselling while 2,660 seats remained vacant.

Steps to check the results:

  • Go to the official website:
  • Click on the UG Medical Counselling tab and then click on the 'All India Quota Counselling' tab
  • Click on the Round II Result link
  • Enter the relevant details
  • Click on submit and view your allotment result
  • Print your result for future reference

Selected candidates will be expected to carry the following documents at their respective allotted medical/dental colleges: Admit card of exam, result, birth certificate (if metric certificate does not bear the same), classes X and XII marksheets and certificates, eight passport size photographs, copy of the provisional allotment letter generated online, identity proof and category certificate.
