Naval officer commits suicide after learning of woman's marriage

Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: Upset after learning that marriage of the woman he loved has been fixed with another man, a 29-year-old Lt Commander of Western Naval Command, Goa, allegedly committed suicide in his house in Tirunelveli today. A suicide note mentioning his ‘failure’ in love as the reason for committing suicide was recovered from the house, they said. Thangadurai was staying with his parents.
