New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday to lay the foundation stone for an AIIMS and an IIIT besides inaugurating a steel plant. PTI[/caption] Modi will lay the foundation stone for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Bilaspur. The 750-bed hospital is to be built at a cost of about Rs 1350 crore and will, in addition to healthcare, provide medical education at the under-graduate and post-graduate level, besides nursing, according to a PMO statement. The prime minister will also lay the foundation stone for an Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) at Una. He will also inaugurate a Steel Processing Unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), at Kandrori in Kangra, the statement said. He will later address a public meeting.
