Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that Modi’s ‘guarantee card’ has been updated for the next five years and it’s for the first time that some party’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ (BJP manifesto) is being called a ‘guarantee card’.

Addressing a rally in Bihar’s Gaya on Tuesday, PM Modi said, “Two days ago, BJP released its ‘Sankalp Patra’. This is the first time, some party’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ is being called a ‘guarantee card’…”

“For the next five years, Modi’s ‘guarantee card’ has been updated. Three crore houses will be made for the poor, the poor will get free ration for the next five years, those above 70 years of age will receive free treatment upto Rs 5 lakh, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi will be continued. All these are Modi’s guarantees,” added the Prime Minister.

Attacking the INDI alliance, he said that the bloc neither has any vision nor does it have the trust of the people.

“Ghamandia Gathbandhan has no vision or trust. When they go on asking for votes, they do so on the work done by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Entire Bihar knows why they try and take credit for the work done by Nitish ji and the central government,” said PM Modi.

He said that the Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD), which is part of the INDI bloc, ruled Bihar for years and only gave two things to the state - ‘jungle raj’ and ‘bhrashtachar’.

Attacking the Congress, he said that the framers of the Constitution dreamt of a prosperous India but the grand old party that ruled for decades lost the opportunity to take it on the path of progress.

“…Our Constitution is pure. The framers of the Constitution dreamt of a prosperous India. However, the Congress party that ruled for decades in the country lost the opportunity…,” said PM Modi, emphasising that their ‘sevak’ - Modi has pulled 25 crore poor out of poverty.
