Modi praises clean up efforts by people after Diwali celebrations

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated the public for their efforts towards cleaning up the dirt left behind after bursting of firecrackers on Diwali. He also congratulated the efforts of the electronic media in spreading awareness. “I saw several TV channels showing dirt left behind after crackers. I congratulate them for spreading awareness on importance of cleanliness,” he wrote.
