Days after the Eastern Command of the Indian Army inflicted heavy casualties on the militants of National Socialist Council of Nagaland - Khaplang (NSCN-K), an army camp in Niausa, Arunachal Pradesh was attacked on Tuesday.

Times Now reported that the militants fired upon an army camp in Longding district at around 1.15 am and the army retaliated. An army official told PTI that suspected militants attacked the Company Operating Base of army’s Longding battalion at Niausa in Arunachal Pradesh but no casualty or damage to property has been reported. The operation is still underway. More details are awaited.
