Meerut gang-rape: Rajnath's son, Hindu Mahasabha chief meet victim's family
Neeraj Singh, son of Minster Rajnath Singh, and president of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha Swami Chakrapani met the Meerut gang-rape victim's family.

Meerut: Neeraj Singh, son of Union Home Minster Rajnath Singh, and president of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha Swami Chakrapani on Friday met the family members of the 20-year-old Meerut girl, who was allegedly raped and forcibly converted and assured to help them in getting justice.

Singh and Swami Chakrapani went to the victim's house at village Sarawan under Kharkhauda police station limits in the district and met the girl's mother.
Speaking to reporters, Singh said BJP demands a CBI probe into the matter and was ready to extend all possible help to the family.
He also said that the Centre was ready for a CBI probe into the incident. In reply to a question, he said that law and order situation has deteriorated in the state.
While speaking to reporters, Swami Chakrapani accused the state government of playing an appeasement politics and said that Mahasabha would launch an agitation against it.
