Manohar Parrikar says Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan is creating an 'atmosphere of fear' in his state

Kollam: Goa chief minister and BJP leader Manohar Parrikar on Sunday said while the BJP government at the centre was trying to take the nation on the development path, Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan was ‘creating an atmosphere of fear.’ [caption id=“attachment_3126150” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]File image of Manohar Parrikar. PTI File image of Manohar Parrikar. PTI[/caption] “While BJP government led by prime minister Narendra Modi is trying to take the nation on the path of development, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan is creating an atmosphere of fear,” he said. Participating in the ongoing ‘Jana Raksha Yatra’ to expose the alleged ‘red terror and jihadi’ under the CPM led LDF rule in the state, he said all people in Kerala should unite to remove the ’tainted’ image of the state, due to attacks on BJP and RSS workers, allegedly by Marxist party workers. “Well cultured people of the state should denounce the political violence of the CPM”, he said adding all should become torch bearers of change.’ He said India was in the path of change and people across the world acknowledge this fact. BJP Mahila Mocha All India President Vijaya Rahatkar was among those joined the two-week long padyatra, led by party state president Kummanom Rajasekharan.
