 "Manipur People's Party VP Manisana Singh shot dead in Imphal")
Imphal: Vice President of the Manipur People’s Party (MPP) Haobijam Manisana Singh was on Wednesday shot dead by some unidentified gunmen at Changangei area in Imphal west district of Manipur, police said.
Sana was shot dead at around 10 am while he was travelling from his house at Thanga area in Bishenpur district to the party office in Imphal, sources said.

He died on the spot, sources said, adding that his body has been sent to Regional Institute of Medical Science and Hospital for post mortem.
No individual or group has claimed responsibility, sources said, adding that motive behind the crime was not yet known.
