Jaipur: A 35-year-old man, who showed Ebola-like symptoms, was kept at an isolation ward at Sawai Man Singh Hospital here before he left for Delhi. He first reported to a private hospital last evening from where he was referred to the medical ward at Sawai Man Singh Hospital,” Head of Medicine Department of the hospital Dr C L Naval said. “Last midnight, the patient left the isolation ward with his relatives to Delhi after submitting a letter of leave against medical advise,” Naval said. The patient, who belongs to Vidhyadhar Nagar area in the city, had recently visited Vadodara. A preliminary clinical investigation indicated that the patient had no contact with any other Ebola patient nor he travelled abroad, Naval added. PTI
