Lucknow: Three-year-old girl raped in school

Lucknow: A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an unidentified person in her school in Cantt area here, police said today. The girl, a student of lower KG, returned home from school with injuries on her body yesterday, after which her mother rushed her to hospital where doctors confirmed that she was sexually assaulted, police said. AP[/caption] The victim, daughter of an Army man, told her mother that it was the act of her “Sir,” after which police is suspecting that a school teacher or staff member might be behind the crime. An FIR under IPC section 376 (rape) has been registered. No arrests have been made so far in this connection. PTI
