One person was injured after a low-intensity blast hit a dharmshala (rest house) in Bihar’s Arrah on Thursday, media reports said.

The blast took place at the Harkhen Kumar Jain Dharmshala. India Today reported that police arrested the injured man after coming to know of a possible terror plot.

According to India TV, five men had come to Arrah on Thursday morning with the intention to plot a major terror attack. The report, however, added that the plan had met an unexpected end when the bomb exploded in the dharamshala itself. India Today reported that four out of the five occupants managed to flee. ANI reported that one Aadhaar Card and a pistol has been recovered from the room.

There were 5 people in the room,out of which one is injured & has been sent to hospital. Their purpose can only be identified after investigation.
