Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has won from Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli. His win was confirmed moments after BJP’s candidate from the seat, Dinesh Pratap Singh, publically conceded her defeat.
According to the Election Commission of India, Gandhi won 6,84,261 votes while his opponent candidate, Singh won 2,95,646. Gandhi defeated Singh by 3,88,615.

Meanwhile, Congress has also snatched the Amethi seat from BJP with the grand old party’s candidate from the seat KL Sharma leading in 1,25,159 seats. Incumbent leader Smriti Irani is trailing behind.
In Uttar Pradesh, the INDIA bloc is leading in 43 seats while the NDA is ahead in 37.
Rahul Gandhi has also contested from Kerala’s Wayanad and he is leading from this seat too.
