LoC ceasefire violation: Pak troops blame Indian Army for soldier's death

Islamabad: A Pakistani military official has accused Indian troops of shelling across the disputed Kashmir border and killing an army captain. The official says the “unprovoked” shelling started at 11:15 p.m. local time Tuesday night in Shakma sector near the town of Skardu. Another soldier was seriously wounded by the Indian shelling. AFP.[/caption] The official spoke on condition of anonymity Wednesday in line with military policy. There was no immediate response from the Indian army. Kashmir is divided between Pakistan and India but claimed in its entirety by both. The countries have fought two major wars over the disputed territory. Over the past two weeks, they have accused each other of repeatedly violating a 2003 cease-fire agreement along the border. AP
