Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sought the services of Indian Forest Service officer Sanjeev Chaturvedi, known for his measures against corruption, as his officer on special duty (OSD).

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sought the services of Indian Forest Service officer Sanjeev Chaturvedi, known for his measures against corruption, as his officer on special duty (OSD). Chaturvedi, presently posted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as deputy director, was in the spotlight after being controversially removed from the post of AIIMS’s chief vigilance officer (CVO) last year - two years before his tenure was to end. Firstpost[/caption] “The services of Sanjeev Chaturvedi, IFS of Haryana cadre 2002 batch, who is presently posted as deputy secretary, AIIMS, New Delhi on central deputation, is urgently required to work as officer on special duty in the chief minister’s office, government of national capital territory of Delhi,” said Kejriwal’s letter dated Feb 16 to union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar. “I would be highly obliged if you could kindly personally look into the matter and get the requisite orders issued at the earliest,” the letter stated. Chaturvedi was earlier appointed CVO till June 2016. PTI
