Even as she battles for her life in the ICU of a Delhi hospital, Arvind Kejriwal is suggesting that the “accident” which critically injured party member Santosh Koli might have been deliberate. Koli is a key woman member of Arvind Kejriwal‘s Aam Aadmi Party, and is the candidate from the Seemapuri constituency.

Santosh is a core committee member of the Aam Aadmi Party. Police have registered a case in this regard at Link Road police station.

A party activist Rajan Prakash had also claimed Santosh had received a threat few days back, warning her not to enter into politics. He said Santosh sustained severe brain injuries. “The impact of the collision was such that the bike caught fire and was gutted,” Prakash said.

Kejriwal tweeted in the morning that he had returned from meeting Koli in the hospital, where she was in a stable but critical state. He then tweeted, “Is it an accident? Or deliberate?” CNN-IBN also flashed the news that Kejriwal is claiming that it was not an accident but a deliberate attempt to kill a member of his party.

“We are investigating the case. The incident took place at around 5.15pm on Sunday, June 30. We are trying to trace car which is still to be identified, and have appealed to people to share if they have any information about its identity,” SP Ghaziabad Shiv Shankar Yadav said.
