JAC 12th Inter results 2019: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the results of Class 12 board exams for science and commerce streams today (Tuesday, 14 May) with the state recording a passing percentage of 70.44 percent in Commerce and 57 percent in Science streams.

Jharkhand JAC 12th Result 2019 Declared |  The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the results of Class 12 board exams for science and commerce streams today (Tuesday, 14 May) with the state recording a passing percentage of 70.44 percent in Commerce and 57 percent in Science streams. Students who appeared for the Class 12 exam can check their scores on official websites jac.ac.in and jharresults.nic.in. PTI[/caption] This year, the pass percentage in Science stream was 57 percent with a total of 53,186 students clearing the JAC Intermediate Science exam. A total of 93,298 students had appeared for the JAC Intermediate (Class 12) examination in science stream. Of them 20,477 secured first class position, 30,874 secured second position while 1,841 came third in the JAC Class 12 Science examination, according to Dainik Jagran. The pass percentage was nine percent higher than what was recorded in 2018, the report said. In the commerce stream, the pass percentage was higher with 70.44 percent or 24,436 of the 34,686 who appeared for JAC Intermediate Comemrce exam, clearing it, reports said. According to Dainik Jaran, 7,115 students passed the exam with first class, while 15,428 secured second position and 1,886 came third. Simdega district topped the JAC Intermediate in the Commerce stream with a pass percentage of 89.31, whereas Khunti was placed second at 80.48 and Kodarma following closely with 79.09 pass percentage. In Science, the Palamu district recorded the highest pass percentage with 72.37 clearing the exam, followed by Hazaribagh at 69.63 percent and Garhwa with 64.75 passing percentage. The pass percentgage was higher among girls in both Science and Commerce streams with the pass percentage among girls being 61.08 in the Science stream and 79.07 in the Commerce streams. The pass percentage among boys was 55.01 for Science stream and 63.68 for Commerce. Steps to check JAC Class 12 results for science, commerce streams:  Step 1: Visit the official websites –  jac.ac.in, jharresults.nic.in Step 2: Click on the ‘download result link’ Step 3: Enter your registration number, roll number Step 4: Results will appear on the screen Step 5: Download it, and take a print out for further reference Students can also check their JAC Class 12 results right here on Firstpost:   According to reports, JAC is expected to annonce the JAC Intermediate results fro Arts stream in 10 days from (24 May). The results of Class 10 examination is expected to be declared before 10 June, The Indian Express reported. As many as 4,32,000 candidates appeared for the 2019 matric examination that was conducted in March. In 2018, the JAC results for science and commerce streams were announced on 7 June.  The pass percentage for the 2018 class 12 science stream was 52.35 percent and that for the commerce stream was 60.09 percent. More than 4 lakh students had appeared for the JAC Class 12 exam, while over 3 lakh students had appeared for the JAC Matric exam.
