A survivor of the Pahalgam terrorist attack has recalled how the terrorist taunted her after killing her husband.
Pallavi, whose husband Manjunath was shot dead, has said that the terrorist spared her so that she could live to narrate the horrors of the attack.
At least 27 people have been killed in the terrorist attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag, intelligence sources told CNN-News 18.
In terms of fatalities, this is the worst act of terror in J&K since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.

Witnesses have said that at least two to three armed men carried out the attack. They said that terrorists were wearing military fatigues.
Before resorting to targeting killing of victims by segretating them as per religion, they fired indiscriminately at people — most of whom were tourists.
‘Tell this to Modi’: Terrorist told victim’s wife
Pallavi, the wife of victim Manjunath, told CNN-News 18 that she and her son asked the terrorist to kill them as well, but the terrorist refused.
Instead, the terrorist told Pallavi that she was being spared so that she could narrate the horrors of the attack to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“He said ’tell this to Modi’ and then he went away,” said Pallavi.
The family belonged to Karnataka’s Shivamogga.
‘Shot while eating bhelpuri’
In a video from the site of the attack, a woman is heard saying that her husband was shot dead while eating bhelpuri.
The woman goes on to say that the terrorists shot victims after segregating them as per religion.
“We were having bhelpuri and they shot my husband. One man came and said that he is perhaps not a Muslim and they shot him,” said the woman in Hindi.
