JAC 12th Result 2019 Toppers: Ranchi girl Amisha Kumari tops Commerce in Intermediate exams, Radheshyam Saha of Pakur district tops Science

 JAC 12th Result 2019 Toppers | Ranchi girl Amisha Kumari topped the Jharkhand Academic Council Class 12 exams in  the Commerce stream, the results for which were declared on Tuesday. According to reports, Kumari, a student of Ursline Inter College, Ranchi, bagged the top position in the Commerce stream with 93 percent marks in aggregate.

In the Science stream, the first position went to Radheshyam Saha of Upgraded Plus-2 School in Sahargram, Pakur district. Saha scored 89.8 percent marks in aggregate in the science stream, a report in Hindustan Times said.

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) declared the Class 12 examination result 2019 for Science and Commerce streams today (Tuesday, 14 May). Students who appeared for the JAC Class 12 Science or Commerce can check their results on the official website of the board-jacresults.com or jac.nic.in.

Jharkhand board announced the toppers list 2019 for Science and Commerce stream today.

As many as  34,686 students appeared for the Class 12 Commerce exam and out of which 24,436 students cleared it, making the overall pass percentage of the stream to be 70.44 percent. As for Science students 94,326 appeared for the test and out of which 53,186 students cleared as the overall pass percentage recorded this year is 57 percent.

Of the 53,186 Science students who cleared the JAC Intermediate Science exam, 20,477 secured first class position, 30,874 secured second position while 1,841 secured third class, according to Dainik Jagran. The pass percentage in the Science stream was nine percent higher than what was recorded in 2018, the report said.

In the commerce stream, of the 24,436 who cleared the JAC Intermediate Commerce exam, 7,115 students passed with first class, while 15,428 secured second calss and 1,886 secured third class.

Simdega district topped the JAC Intermediate in the Commerce stream with a pass percentage of 89.31, whereas Khunti was placed second at 80.48 and Kodarma following closely with 79.09 pass percentage.

In Science, the Palamu district recorded the highest pass percentage with 72.37 clearing the exam, followed by Hazaribagh at 69.63 percent and Garhwa with 64.75 passing percentage.

The pass percentgage was higher among girls in both Science and Commerce streams with the pass percentage among girls being 61.08 in the Science stream and 79.07 in the Commerce streams. The pass percentage among boys was 55.01 for Science stream and 63.68 for Commerce.

JAC conducted the Class 12 Science examination from 8 March to 27 March, 2019 and  Commerce examination between 8 March and 27 March, 2019.

Step 2: Click on the 'download result link'

Step 3: Enter your registration number, roll number

Step 4: Results will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download it, and take a print out for further reference
